OCHOS Smiřice is a young theatre group full of enthusiasts from Smiřice and its surroundings. The amateur theatre had a long tradition in Smiřice, but in 1962 the local theatre association disappeared and amateur theatre was silent for 49 years. There were attempts to revive it, but it was not until 2011 that it succeeded. OCHOS is a group of people who are attempting to revive the tradition of amateur theatre in a small town. At the same time, they work hard to make sure they are well heard in other towns and villages.
