Program

A family outdoor production inspired by the adventures of the traveler Barbora Markéta Eliášová, who embarked on her first journey around the world in 1912. She traveled by train across Russia to Vladivostok. From there, she sailed by steamship to Japan, where she worked as a governess for the children of an English professor and held a teaching position at a postal school. She learned Japanese and became the first European graduate of an ikebana course. From Japan, she sailed by ship to America, through Chicago and New York, before returning by ship to Prague. She embarked on the journey around the world four more times thereafter.
